Remember the cases are the same for left or right side of car you just install the shaft opposite to get the side needed. Bob

folks, these are number 1 Quality items. You won't believe what a great job they have done in reproducing them and Bob is very reasonable with his prices. We need more of this going on in the sport.

Well Richard, I have started this one but not to sure it too will make a go of it. In the past my old partner and I reproduced the Stewart Warner 409 speedometer drive for the wire wheel cars and marketed through Langs. One advantage it didn't require a swivel only a cable leading to the speedometer due to fact the drive didn't need to make the 90* turn as with other drives.





We have since purchased an original iron gear to use in reproducing this same gear in brass and that will mount to the wood wheels but to go forward there needs to be some sort of market for them. At this point we plan only a couple copies for our on use and do a wait and see. Bob

Looks great Bob, but I don't see any castle nuts or cotter pins.

Dave by 1926 Ford was using split lock washers in place of castle nuts and cotter pins but your point is one of the main reasons I have stopped doing T items. Just too many OCD guys out there that don't see the forest for the trees. If not seeing castle nut and cotter pins will stop you from wanting this speedometer set up it's time for me to move on. I'm surprised you didn't catch the stainless steel Phillips head screws used on the window riser gear cases. Bob
