Hi Jay, we had an occasion where our T was painted during a fundraising event for Children's Hospital located in Seattle. A group of "Plein Air" artists came to our home in Anacortes to paint outdoor life from different vantage points while a "Home Tour" was underway. One artist decided to capture our home, and the old jalopy we had on display out side during the tour.
I took a digi pic of approximately the same vantage point for comparison and contrast to the artist's eye for detail.
"Plein Air" of Washington explains their mission below from their website:
‘Plein Air Washington Artists’ is a group of people who love the adventure of painting outdoors. We are dedicated to the fine art of painting on location in natural light to document the diverse and breathtaking scenery of our beautiful state.
Our home tour and several other homes and places of interest in Anacortes managed to raise close to $20,000 last September. It was a lot of work, but well worth it for the kids.
