I've had our Model K at Tom's Radiator in Sabetha Kansas. It has had carb issues along with mag problems. Tom has "taken a liking" to the car, and worked on it while I was out of commission. In addition to his great radiator work, Tom worked his "magic" on both the carburetor adjusting and the magneto.
We took it for a few "spins" around Sabetha tonight, and I think it's ready to go. I'm taking it home in the morning and then will start "fine tuning" the carb adjustments. A big thank you to Stan Howe for rebuilding the carburetor too.

Looking great. Can't wait to see you and the car in Lincoln in a month. Glad to hear you're coming along like a trooper as well.
Nice car!
Charley
Lovely, lovely. Is there an action video of it around? Seems I remember seeing one at some point. Anything newer?
Now, that's a car with stage presence!
Here's one of Rob's videos of his Model K: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixXlJkX6KEc
Thanks guys. Dave, I hope to have the N and K in Lincoln at some point during the speedster reunion.
Roger, thanks for posting the link. I need to do a better job making video. I did that one holding my phone with one hand and driving/operating the car with the other. The results weren't the best.
Erich, this is another using still slides. I incorporate a little history into the video.

I hope to do more of each type this summer.

Rob, The Old Car Festival would be a great end of summer thing to do! Sure would be great to see that K up close.....Jim Derocher AuGres, Michigan
Jim,
We have registered for both the Lansing to Dearborn run and OCF this year. I've never been, and looking forward to it. Also a good chance a friend will have his there too. See you then......
Rob
Ours has the crank positioned correctly.
Great looking car Rob! Glad things are getting better.

Erich,
I just threw this together. It's history and slides. It begins with the six cylinder racer, then a few items about the cars.

Speaking of the Old Car Festival, has anyone received their registration packets yet? Seems to me they should have arrived by now.
Thanks,
Willis
Rob, are you doing the New London to New Brighton tour this year? I hope so. I've been telling my friend and neighbor about the tour since last summer and he's excited to ride down to Kingston this year in the Model T to meet up with you guys again like we did last year. I've showed your Model K to my friend and he said he never imagined Ford had built such a car. Now he's interested in everything Ford and pre-Model T. I hope you're healing well and you're up and running on all two soon.
Willis
The OLD CAR FESTIVAL registration is being done on line. Go to the Henry Ford web site and click special events and you should be able to register. Registration opened May 1.
Mike,
Yes, hope to have the K and N there (unless I break one before). I drove the K every day last week, getting the "bugs" out.
