I just received my new rear fenders for my hack. What was on the car when I bought it were just touring fenders that had the bottom front inside section cut off. Can anyone give me the correct measurement from the top of the tire to the bottom side of the fender?
thanks, Mike

One source would be the Ford factory chassis dimension.

More important is your chassis height, body weigth, rear spring condition and number of leaves. A heavy sedan uses the 9 leaf spring.

If a heavy load is placed, as with lots of folks on board, the weight will compress the rear spring, and fenders could rub on the rear tires.

This truck seems like it will have tire/ rear fender interference if a big load is placed in the bed :-)

Thanks Dan for the measurements. I don't for see any more than 2 riding in the car at anyone time. I do custom woodworking and carving so the car will be turned into a panel with engraved sides. The change in rear fenders just got to me and in good faith couldn't put the cut up touring rear fenders back on.
thanks again, Mike
