My friend Chuck Garrett just sent me an email with a photo showing a painting of his 1912 Indian motorcycle. It was done by a man named Reed White.
I have known Chuck for years through the local engine and tractor club. Chuck had told me that he was restoring an Indian motorcycle and wanted to take it to the Isle of Mann for a rally.
There is a video of it on youtube going around the track there last year. I don't have a link right now, but here is the photo:

By the way Chuck is ninety years young.

Herb

Here's an indian carved in marble. Photo taken while on the T tour in Rapid City.

That is an interesting sculpture. Are the eyes painted?

I don't know. I took the picture through the store window. It had a $3000.00 price tag in 2010. I'm amazed at the detail. Check out the poor guy's ears.

Not much different from some teenage "indians" I see attending the local high school. :-) I wonder if a hundred years from now someone will carve this clown out of stone.

Make that 'out of stoned' and you would probably be right Ed. :-)

ED; Can't help but laugh at that one,
What cracks me up is those high dollar sport stars, when they are interviewed on TV, all they can say is "but ah, but ah, ya know, ya know.
