Neighbor RDR sent a young USC student and his Dad to y house to look ant my Model T. The young man is very interested in the teens and twenties era. When they arrived I showed them the car and explained some of the things that are so different about a Model T.
He quickly got my attention by telling me that Yesterday was the Anniversary Day for the last T off the assembly line. Don't know if that is true and may depend on which country but I soon realized this young man had done some research into early Fords.
Was a very rewarding day to see the smiles on there faces learning more about the T's.
Glad to pawn them off onto you, Gene. You did far better than I could have.
The Dad is an author, and reporter for the local rag. He's the one who discovered and publicized the upcoming (proposed) AQMD, Air Quality Management District, rule on banning bonfires from our beaches.
Dean, of Jan and Dean, defended the bonfires on CBS This Morning yesterday. Only a few people in $Megabuck houses next to the sand are complaining: the smoke gets in their houses. Yeh, they could afford air filters.
