Very nice video Bill, We certainly had fun day with a ton of people coming by to learn about the Model T's.
Thanks to John Bowman for organizing another great event!
This was the first day that I had driven the Torpedo since I made and installed the McNerny/Big Four style front brakes.
Nice Torpedo, interesting fire truck, but the most interesting and mesmerizing vehicle on the whole meet for me was the Model T wrecker. Unfortunately I got to see only about 1 second of it.
Biggest turn-off: the gold chain wearing guy with the pimped out trike. Second place: a white California license plate on a Model T. If we want to start collecting money so that the owner of that T can get a set of Horseless Carriage or Y.O.M. plates, I'll start by donating $10.
Burnard, as you may well know it is easier to go the two step process than to do it all at once. If your plate doesn't take the paper work gets lost in a Sacramento file and you can't go on the street without the paper work. Se we get a white plate and then go for the YOM HCC Historic and so on.
Congratulations to Gene's Torpedo, and Carl Laski's fire truck, prize winners. What were the categories? Were there any other T winners?
Gene, the drive to the show was your first road test of the front brakes? You've got titanium plumbing!
