No reports from the meet so far, so thought I'd post mine.
Seemed like a lot fewer vendors this year--could be the extremely hot weather the day before scared folks off? I found some nice stuff, but it seemed the pickin's were a little lean--although if I wanted an early chassis, there were a few to pick from. Could be I'm getting more particular about what I still need! I did get some nice '25 front fenders, one for Barney's drivers side, as the inside apron is broken & this fender matches the patina & was cheaper than me taking time to have mine welded etc.
This year I did not have a piece of Pie--but in my defense, I did partake of a very good Apple Fritter! Stopped at a Barn sale on the way home and bought four leaded glass doors from a craftsman style cabinet that had been dismantled because of termites (AAUGH!!). This will likely make it into the side panels of my music room entrance. So, Linda & I had a good day--also ran into some T friends, including Jay (next year I need to wear a "Forum Name Tag" too!). Erik B. and his Dad were there & we had time for a short visit too.
If ya lived nearby & didn't go, I think you missed out. If you lived a long ways away, well, hmm--depended on what you were looking for!
Oh, and the Pizza in Penn Valley on the way home was excellent too!

I'm glad I didn't go. It's a long drive from LA!

This is the first year I can remember that all the spaces weren't sold out. All's I can chalk it up to is that the 110 degree heat the day before the meet kept people away. Even as such I found a number of neat Model T items to add to the collection. I would have posted pictures but when I went to use my camera it became evident that I senior moment-ed out and left the memory card at home stuck in my computer, oh duh!

Jay
Been there done that, Its even worse if you run down to the drug store for a new chip and forget to take any pictures when you get back.
SENIOR MOMENTS ARE GREAT.

Bob
