Nice picture of 1914 bare chassis. Note the metal coil box and steering column horn bulb mount.
Could this be a branch assembling a shipped car? It looks like new parts. Or were they starting with a new chassis and building an ambulance, now that I look at the photo more closely.....
This is the second ambulance assembled in Paris by the American Field service. Harold White is the fellow in the coveralls on the right.

I had to look up Harold White, as I had forgotten who he was, He was the manager of the Ford Motor Company's French assembly plant. He donated 10 chassis to the American Ambulance hospital.
