I'm in the process of installing fenders on my 14 roadster. These are new repos so i will be drilling holes in them. My question is on the rear fenders are they level on the car or do they tilt down in the back some ? Could some one post some head on and side view pictures of how the fenders sit? It would sure be a big help.
Thanks Bill

They are level. Why are you drilling holes in the fenders. Don't they have mounting brackets already installed. The ones I bought from Rootleb had the brackets mounted.

As others have already stated they are level. Here is a shot of my 14.

No brackets on these fenders. Not sure who made them but they have been in storage about 30 years. Thanks guys that helps a lot. This is my retirement project. This car was given to us in many pieces. All the wood had to be replaced rebuild rear end you name it lots to do. The good thing is the engine runs great with standard pistons.

I'm pretty sure he rears are horizontal and the fronts just a little above.

Look at the photo of the '14 roadster that Royce posted. It must be early '14, because it still has the '13 style top.

Bill,
Until a few years ago Rootlieb fenders came without brackets or holes. I would get someone to measure their original fenders and hole locations for you, then you'll know the the correct locations are to drill yours.

I bought fenders off Rootlieb in the mid 70's and the brackets were installed.
On the '14 flat fenders, it is a lot easier than the crowned fenders, like on '17 and up.
