Model T Ford Forum: Forum 2013: Nice Photo Needed

I have opened a repair shop for Model T's and other old cars here in Wilmington, NC and would like an old photo for the brochure. It has to be catching, and one that might make it to the refrigerator magnets. I am thinking of the one with three women having a picnic with the Model T in the background. Another possibility is an old automobile shop with greasy mechanics, but I think nice looking women in a Model T setting might be more catching.

If you have any ideas, please provide a link or post the photo. I started to do a search but there are 5,483 "Old Photos" on the forum.

Thanks,
Neil

Here is a link to my page of collected advertisements from the T era. What better place to find an image for your new ad than from old ads?

Some past photos showed different Model T tow trucks that may work for you. I didn't copy them so I don't have the pictures.

Line drawings make great ads because they are easy to reproduce and edit to an individuals needs.

Young children with an old car...appeal to a lot of people.

Or a "tip of the hat" for friendly service

Never use women to sell your service if your a small business, it will come back to bite you.
Back in the 70's the motto for my shop was
"From the rubber up" with a picture of a large chested woman, that went well till the women protesters showed up, and blocked my driveway.

Get in touch with Richard Eagle and get him to do something for you or get permission to use something he has on his calendar.
