My fellows do not go into the 21 split rim all the way it hits on the inside and there is a lot of space bet.the ears that bolt the wheel to the rim
there is a big space 1/8 +or- between he rim and fellow
Is that how it is or do I have the wrong fellos?
also do the fellow goes tight to the ears that bolts to the wheel?, Thank you Lorenzo
Look at the inside edge of the wheel. The rim should be all the way against the wheel there. The lug does not pull all the way to the wheel. Do not over tighten it or you could break something. Tighten the lugs a little at a time from one side to the other side. After you get it tightened all the way, spin the wheel. It should run true.

It looks to me like you have the wrong rim for that wheel.
I think that with either split rim or clincher, it should fit onto the felloe far enough for the lug bolt to come all the way through the nut.
Might be that the "ears" either are not original and not shaped quite right, or, more likely yet, they were not welded on the rim in quite the right place or right position. Might be like Steve said too,.....somebody trying to "adapt" Chev rims!
The pictures above show how the clincher fits. Here's the split rim.
Steve Thank you ...Good pictures.
