Greetings all,

It's time to begin getting my T roadworthy and first order of business is an engine rebuild. I am in Chicagoland and would like to find someone who does quality work at a reasonable cost. I don't mind paying for good value - I'm not trying to get by on the cheap.

I'm looking for recommendations. Thanks

David

No personal experience but this shop was recommended in a post on this forum a few months ago. Check 'em out.

I cast my vote for Ron's Machine Shop in Shandon, OH. Good people who do good work. I have an engine/trans down there right now for rebuilding and customizing. From Chi-town it is an easy drive down I-65 to Indy and over I-74 to Shandon (northwest side of Cincinatti, OH). While you're at it, take a buzz up to Richmond, IN a little north of there to check out the MTFCA museum. Really cool!

Call Dave Szumowski at 773-502-1935. His dad is the person who rebuilds magneto pickup coils. Dave works out of his dads garage near Midway Airport. Dave does good work, is timely, and is near you.
