Is this 2848B nut for bolt 2847B for part 2846 Kelsey clamp for a Kelsey rim 1919-24? The picture is enlarged a bit. The bolt size is 3/8 or so.

I think the rim clamp bolts and nuts were 7/16 inch, fine thread. Looks like a rim lug nut. A side view would help. I don't have part numbers handy.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Darel, if the nut has a square edge to the flange rather than a taper, it goes with a Kelsey loose lug rim. The lug will have two legs and a flat between them. The longer leg locates on a depression in the felloe and the shorter leg engages on the rim.

Hope this helps.

Darel,

Lang's has a good picture at: http://www.modeltford.com/item/2848B.aspx but it did not list the thread per inch etc.

Respectfully submitted,
