Great motorcycle and great photo, I would not argue with that guy. Thanks for posting.
Happy motoring, Warren
The way that light is pointing, it would show up more owls and overhanging branches than rocks and pot holes.

Check the lady's riding skirt-it unbuttons down the front for easy straddling of the bike.
The guy is saying, "We don't need no stinking helmets".
Very cool, the head light reminded me of a trip a friend and I took on our Indians years ago. Neither of us were used to being out late on our Indians. Our lights worked but we had never really tested them. We were in the mountains and it got dark, very dark. We did not know where we were exactly, looking for a place to camp. We were lucky we did not go off that mountain road that night. My light was aiming down step at the ground, his was aiming up at the stars. We were all but blind! scary riding like that :-)
Oregon plates. I wonder where at...
Tom, do you have and can you post any photos of your Indian?
Happy motoring, Warren
Looks like a 1916 Powerplus.
Warren, I did I did :-) both a 39 Sport Scout and a 25 Scout. I agree James, looks like a 16 to me.
whoops wrong thread for the above post, duh.
One little, two little, three little Indian threads,
Because of a couple of other posting about Indians...shouldn't you say "Out for a ride on our Native American?"
From Chuck who own's a 1912 Indian-
"The bike is a Power Plus model first out in 1915 so the bike is 1915 or 16 as the lic plt is 1916. 61 CID"
