Not only is summer here in Minnesota, but so is my 81st birthday (today, June 21). I am happy that I can still enjoy my 1910 T and my two 1931 Model A Fords. I know there are older forum members out there and some may have owned their Model T longer than the 67 years that I have, but I still feel it is getting close to be significant number of years of ownership. Thanks to everyone that posts on this forum. It is certainly interesting to read each day.
Happy Birthday Darel. Hope you get to enjoy many more.
Happy Birthday Darel. May you have many more in good health.
Happy Birthday Darel....
Happy Birthday Darel, (mine is tomorrow). Lets see... I just got my first T in 2011. If I live to be 125 years old I will have caught up to your milestone today. I'm thinking I will NOT be catching up to your 1910 in this lifetime...Enjoy and stay upright !
Happy Birthday Darel !! You have exactly 20 years on me. God Bless & good health.
Darel,
Both you and Lizzie are looking good!
Happy birthday and many more.
Larry
A very Happy Birthday to you Darel!!!!
Happy Birthday Darel!
Happy birthday! And I thought my 56 years of owning my '26 Touring was a lot. Way to go Darel!
Happy B-Day
Happy birthday to Darel and Bob.
Happy Birthday, Darel & Bob! I can only HOPE to make it to 81!! I think if I buy yet another Model T though, my wife might shorten my longevity!
Darel,
Happy B’day! And thank you for your numerous postings, ID Patent plates you have etched, and support to our club and hobby over the years! I look forward to reading your wisdom for many more years to come.
Respectfully submitted,

Although it is hard to see his face due to the shadow, this is Darel sitting in his '25 touring over 60 years ago. My dad took the photo. Darel can probably pinpoint the year. I believe it was taken in Richfield, MN which is a suburb immediately south of Minneapolis.
Happy birthday Darel and wish you many more years of enjoying the hobby. Nice car!
Mike
Darel, I guess We should say Happy Summer Solstice along with Happy Birthday and many more.
With a special birth date like yours I think this would be a great place to celebrate your 82nd birthday. :-)
Way to celebrate turning 81 years young........some people GET old because they LET themselves get old.
Obviously that doesn't apply to you.......
Happy Birthday!
Looking good for 81, happy birthday Darel.
(Late in checking in today)
Happy Birthday (belated) Darel!!!
Happy birthday Don B!
Happy Summer everyone!
Darel, Happy Birthday, just saw the thread!
Bob J...only 61 if I did my math right? Gee, I always thought you were older than me! (only kidding...but maybe that was 'old' Bob) Happy Birthday to you too.
Happy Birthday Darel! And many many more happy rides in your T. You're both looking good!
Happy Birthday Darrel, it is good to see men at your age active and enjoying life-- love your " T" looking good--- I'm not so far behind you at 75 yrs. Good luck on you, Joe
Happy Birthday Darel, and may the joy of Fords be with you for many years to come.

The photograph of me and my 1925 was taken at 6821 Morgan Ave. So. in Richfield MN in the sumer of 1948 or 1949. My father bought the home in 1947 and sold it in 1949 when we then moved back to Minneapolis to 4928 18th Ave. So. I bought that 25 from the owner of Shlemp (Sp) Furs when they were located at Lake and Hennepin in Minneapolis. I drove it to Northfield Mn one weekend and tossed a rod through the side of the block because of a major oil leak. I installed an un numbered NOS Ford T Block in the T. So if someone around Minnesota has a 1925 Touring with no serial number on the engine, that is my former T. I sold the T to Erickson Used Cars on 45th and Chicago Ave in South Minneapolis.
"I know there are older forum members out there and some may have owned their Model T longer than the 67 years that I have, but I still feel it is getting close to be significant number of years of ownership."
So what you are saying Darel is that you have owned a Model T for as long as I've been alive?
Happy Birthday brother and many more to you.
Darel, you're in that select minority of the population that has a few years on me. Looks like you're doing OK, so hang in there. I want to see a picture of you in your car on June 21, 2033.
Happy B-day Darel.....best wishes for many healthy and happy years to come.......
Happy birthday Darel and many more.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday. You might have a record length of ownership on a Model T. It would be interesting to find out if any other members have had theirs longer. I keep getting older every year, but cannot ever catch up with those who are older than I am.
Happy birthday.
