I have been asked to help locate a Model T snowmobile (snow Flyer or Snow Bird)to have on display at the opening of a Snowmobile Museum. I have provided things to use in there display and they would like to have a real unit there also. I can provided the contacts information
for them and you can make the arrangements as to how it would be handled. I don't think it has to be a perfect show car. There planning to open in late Sept or Oct 2013.
I have no connection with them, just trying to help. It's to far for me to take mine.
Thanks for any help
Bob
Where in Michigan will this be?
You might check with Rufus Ranch in Brainerd, MN. They might be able to help you. The buy and sell a lot of really old snowmobiles, Model A's and all kinds of unique stuff. They have a couple Model A Super Sno Birds listed on their website now. Their contact information is as follows: Phone: 218-839-3133, e-mail: rufusranch@hotmail.com website: http://www.rufusranch.com
Is it the new museum in Cedar Springs, MI? (Just north of Grand Rapids.) Or the one in Naubinway (UP)?
Thanks for the info. This is the one at Naubinway
UP. They are just finishing there new building
and having there grand opening.

By the way the thing that is being referred to by most snow travelers I call a Motor Toboggan, unlike the Snow(auto)mobile for the Model T Ford.
Just my $.02 cents worth.
