I am trying to vent my enclosed trailer I dont want any holes in the roof I would like to vent in the walls everything I find is cheep junk I even bought some off of amazon but wont use them
what are you guys using ?
When I bought my Haulmark in 2002, I ordered it with side vents. I was told then that these vents were typically used on motorcycle trailers. They were mounted about a foot from the rear of the trailer, and about three feet off the floor. One of the exterior vents faces forward, and one faces rearward to insure air circulation while driving. I think they have worked great both while driving, and when the trailer is sitting.
I just had to replace some parts. This is a link to the inner vent cover http://store.haulmark.com/Vent-Side-Wall-Inner-Grill-P117.aspx
and this is the outer vent http://store.haulmark.com/Vent-Side-Wall-Outer-P116.aspx
If you are adding these to an existing trailer, you would drill a hole through the wall the size of the id of the inner screen, then attach the screen and outer vent to your trailer. The price looks right to me.
I never use my upper vents. If I were ordering a new trailer I would get the side vents, and not get any roof vents. Yes, there is no way to open or close the vents, but I have never had a problem with rain or moisture getting in the trailer.
