Does anyone have any information regarding contacting Bittner Engineering, (true-fire ignition)- the phone number is inoperative and all attempts at email have failed. I have some questions regarding wiring the system with the voltage regulator. If not, is there anyone here with experience installing the system with the regulator who can answer a few questions? Thanks

Are you asking about the cutout/regulator on the generator, the resister used in conjunction with 12V setup or this;

If it's the last item, I would think that it's meant to be used with a battery as a charger and you would still need to pull voltage from the battery to operate the ignition. I've only been around one of these setups and it used the battery as a power source. Maybe a bit more information of where you need help might find an answer to your question.

Installing the ignition system and the regulator so we can use the magneto. Instructions are clear for each individual part, but not so much when trying to use the two together.

You might ask the question "Can the True-fire ignition be used with the Bittner battery regulator as a power supply".
Bittners is hit and miss to get a hold of, sometimes it takes a while for him to get back to you.
