The spring on my sediment bowl is too short and will not put tension on the handle. I don't seem to be able to find that spring from the vendors. Has anyone had this problem and has anyone found a spring that would work? I hate to spend the money for a new bowl just because of a spring for the old one.

Take the spring to a good hardware store. They normally have a selection of compression springs. Match the wire size and diameter. You can always cut the new one to length.

The fit on that spring is pretty precise. I have found that sometimes, simply adding a small flat washer is enough to regain tension. I find that they usually require a flat washer on each end of the spring.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Thanks, got it as I had the washer on the wrong end of the spring.
