How should seal against vinyl mounted, left the assembly, left mont are the right I think?
Anyone know for sure.

Not sure about the Coupelet ? Our Fordor Sedan has the Rain Gutter installed over the Vinyl top covering. As per you illustration on the left of screen. I used a sealant on the back of the gutter.

The rain gutter acts like a clamp to pinch the top material to the body so it would go on the outside.

On my 18 coupelet the roof material goes under the rain gutter as showing in the picture on the left and it is used as a clamp also. There should be a second, 1/2", half round above it
that works as a clamp. They were originally nailed
on, you started with a wood screw, nailed and ended
with a wood screw and then filled the holes and then
painted it. There were variations of that also.
