Hi,

I am looking for a few parts in Australia (or shipping costs are a problem).

In particular:

- magneto V magnets (1909 or as early as possible)
- Crack case and crank shaft
- perhaps a magneto

Does anyone local have any for sale?

Thanks!

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
Sounds like you have set yourself a challenge if looking for 1909 T parts in Australia, maybe you'll get lucky, I'm only able to go back to 1914+ in magneto parts, a crank shouldn't be a problem, crank case, well I think there's about 6 changes by 1913.

Jeremy, you should be able to source what you need from members of the Model T Ford Club of Victoria. The parts you are after are not uncommon. Warwick Landy and David Dare are frequent posters on the forum. Either of them should be able to help sourcing your needs. I am also a Victorian club member but I am in South Australia. I can help but you would be better off finding what you need locally.

Hope this helps.

Jeremy,
Perhaps you could supply us with a little bit more detail of what your project entails??? Most of us have spares or junk, depending on what it is required for?
Regards,
Warwick

Oops! Sorry Jeremy. I missed the 1909 bit. Much harder. The engine pan will be really difficult. I have a pressed steel double stacked magneto coil plate. Any crankshaft will do.

Hope this helps.
