I would like to add cowl lamps to my sedan to use as front turn signals. What type of light and mounting bracket would be correct for this year? Were they even offered then?

The vendors have them. The 1st catalog I found was Smith & Jones in SC, Part # T-3655 SE, Closed car sidelamp brackets $49.50 pr.

There is no correct side light and bracket for a 24 Fordor. The 1924 Coupe, Fordor and Tudor did not have side lights. The side lights were only used on the non-starter cars - touring, roadster and truck. Ford did not build any non-starter closed cars in 1924.

thanks for the Input , I had a hunch that the lights wouldn't be correct, but they look better than something else added on for signals

John,

Be aware that if you are going to do it, there are two different types of brackets, one for the slanted winshield on the open cars...and one for the truck/hack.

I could look later as I have a '25 fordor (without) about 7 feet from my '19 hack (which does)but my mind tells me that your best shot would be to get truck/hack brackets as they would most likely be the ones to at least point in the right direction.
