I hope it's better than last year! I had to pay $6 to look at a bunch of junk.
I found lots of neat stuff. A pair of 20 inch TT rims, Seat risers for my 27 tudor, a set of triple horns for my 35 big truck and plenty of other stuff. I will be traveling over 200 miles to get there and the truck has a full tank of gas waiting to get there. Scott
With any swapmeet it ebbs and flows, you never know what you will find. What will we say when there is no more swapmeets being held? Anyway, I always enjoy paying 6 bucks to look at a bunch of junk if it supports a fellow Model T Ford club
I will be there with Don Skille selling model T parts, old license plates and who knows what else. Larry, be sure to bring money, even you might find something to buy!
Thanks for your support Larry. Why don't you bring some "good stuff" to sell? The good old days were 50 years ago when the cars and parts were only 30 or 40 years old and new parts were still available from Whitney, Warshawsky, and Wards!
Ya Larry, clean some of that "junk" out of your garage and bring it. You won't have to pay the bucks to enter that way.
There'll be tons of good and bad stuff there as usual take your pick.
I'll be looking for an oil filler cap that I lost on the way to the Orange County swap. Even had a magnet glued on inside thanks to RDR hint. Must have been those bumpy SoCal roads and speed.
Come and see this years Winner of the Montana 500, Garrett Green and his amazing touring!!!
Anybody want to share a booth? I don't have enough stuff to make it worth sitting there two days.
Ralph, if you can carry it in you can stay at our place, bring a chair.
Jeff, will you be stetting up on Thursday? I'll be there if you need some help?
There is a restaurant on Katella just after you get off the 605. I think they open up at 6:00 am. Does anyone know the name of it? Thanks, Scott
Katella Deli is on the right and has a bakery so that's probably the one your looking for.
Pollys Pies? opens at 6: 30 3464 Katella Ave.
Hi Ed, Polly,s Pies thats the place. Thanks, Scott
Anybody have a pair of '26 Cal. plates ??
I'll be coming down.
George n L.A.
John Herd, Orange County club will be coming down and has some plates for sale along with a very nice complete Ruxtel and other stuff. Don't know his space number or which year plates.
Thanks Gene. I'll be down with Martin . Hoping Fri.
but maybe Sat. Mart hasn't gotten back with me yet.
The LBMTC Swap Meet has always bee a great one. I wish I could make it this year. I've always enjoyed it in the past. Hopefully someone will post a lot of pictures! Have fun guys!
The Swap Site is located right next to Costco so you can fill your gas tank at about 12 cents a gallon under retail and get that $1.50 hot dog or Polish sausage sandwich with a big gulp with a free fill up while shopping for T parts with a bunch of friendly folk. It'll cost you less for super duper gas than other's charge for the low powered stuff. Sorry no Diesel.
If you get their early please stop in at the Starting Gate Restaurant across the road named Katella Avenue and get their "Special" which is two eggs any way, a pound of hash browns, a slice of ham, two slices of bacon, two sausage patties, and biscuits and gravy all for $3.99. If you can eat it all you are a pig hawg ! and don't forget to ask for their fresh Pico De Gio or fresh salsa.
The land developer had two daughters and one was named Kate and the other one was Ella, you guessed it he could not make a favorite so named the Street Kate-Ella. . . . . . And that's the truth.
Buying T parts and talking to nice guys and making new friends are some of the options to do.
Just got back from the swap meet. Well there a lot less vendors this time. But I did get a pair of wire wheel hubs for 150.00 When I got them home they have the dust covers and the outer bearings that are nice. So I did good. My buddy also got a few things at a fair price. I will go back next year God willing. Scott
For the past 2 years I went down there on Friday, but this time I will go Saturday. Any interesting cars there?
Here's a video link to today's Vintage & Classic Parts Exchange:

There were a few Model Ts for sale as well as many T parts.
Great Bill, you even got my car in there with a before and after fender pic. I don't know I lucked out on that fender. It just said take me home. Had a good time, got all my pics re-sized and get 'em tomorrow. Pleasure seeing you and the court again.

Thanks Bill for taking the nice Video. Appreciate looking at it. Bill
Ya Bill some really nice pictures of all the swap treasures and the members cars as well.
I had a good time, found some good stuff buried in the piles.
