I was at a meeting on the technical museum in Elsinore the other day and we sneaked view some of the exhibition :-)
In 2009 they had a special exhibition about Ford and Model T and some of the artifact is still in a corner of the museum - including this nice Centerdoor:
Just wanted to share with you.
I think the center door is the best looking body style. I remember Dad saying that they were not well liked because of all the glass, and the awkward door.
I agree Ed. I'm not sure how much I'd want one as a regular driver but they sure are elegant looking.
I know that I wish I could have my old center-door back. I wouldn't mind at all having another one.
Thank you for sharing this, Michael D.
The Center Doors are nice to look at, but if you are 6 ft 3 inches like myself, it is a problem getting in and out. I have a 16 and a 21 and they are fun to drive. I will post a picture of the 16.
Well - if money and space was not an issue - a Centerdoor would definately be on the shopping list ;-)
A Centerdoor in Elsinore?
