Just the admin building and garage. Not the factory itself.
This is what it looks like now inside the Highland Park office building. I took this picture last summer. This was the showroom on the main floor with the grand staircase in the background. Some of the large showroom windows have been smashed and boarded up. It appears that vandals have trashed the place although everything appears restorable. Dave, I don't know what the "garage" is but, the admin building is clearly for sale because it is vacant and not wanted. The factory itself is another matter. It is being used for some purpose by the company Ford sold it to. Ford is also leasing space there to store tons of old records. I also have it good authority that the factory is full of cars and parts. Samples of everything Ford ever made. Plans for a future museum perhaps? I agree, there has to be public access to at least some of the factory or what's the point.
