Can someone sell me two of the 92 degree Metal Brackets that are attached to the wood in a 24 Ford Coupe trunk?
Or can you tell me where to acquire them?
I doubt that anyone makes them ,but i would try Model T Haven and send a picture along with your e-mail.If anyone has them it would be Mark.
Rick
You could use a piece of steel angle or strap, either bent to the correct angle.
You could bend two matching pieces of steel strap with the holes in place, then sandwich sheet metal blank between and bolt together. Next heat the sheet metal with a torch and hammer form the bracket. Then finish to the correct contour with a die grinder or similar. You might be able to cold form the sheet metal.
Steve, if all else fails, that bracket would be very easy to fabricate if you could borrow one for a pattern, if you're not worried about it being original. One piece of flat the correct(or close)gauge in thickness bent in a "L" shape and two pieces cut out for the gussets all welded together would work great. Just a thought. Dave
