Sorry for the late notice. The Upland Carnegie Library is having their 100 anniversary Friday July 26, 2013. They are looking for some period vehicles to park near the library.

If your in the area please drive on by. I was asked to bring my 27 Fordor about 10:30am

An interesting little bit of Upland history is the mule car that ran on Euclid Avenue before the introduction of electric trolleys.


The city slopes up to the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. The mule pulled the car to the north end of the line, then stood on a platform and rode back down to the south end.
