I have a Bridgeport No. 5 Pump is poor condition. How do I disassemble it to attempt to make it work again? Art Bell's patent drawings from an earlier Forum posting are helpful, but I'm still confused. Looking at the pump it is not clear where to start, and what to do.
The small cylinder appears to have threaded fittings on the top end. The large tube and the bottoms of both tubes appear to be screwed or pressed into the top and bottom castings, respectively.
