Headed out from San Francisco in our rental Chevy heading for LA. Drove the 17 mile drive around the Pebble Beach area and then continued all the way down highway one to Morro Bay. An absolutely spectacular drive left me wishing I was in a model T with the top down enjoying the spectacular views. Truly one of the best drives I have ever taken. The maximum speed limit of 45 along most of its length would mean not holding up traffic to much? Just curious if anyone has done it in a T?.

We've done that route in a modern car, liking your idea of T ride !!
Older son and I went Big Sur northbound in the Speedster in 2001, on our way to Oregon. The headwind at Windy Point wasn't comfortable above 35 mph. He ran a few marathons there. Guess I didn't get any pix there, but some later in the trip.
I took the 17 mile drive in my 1910 Model T last year and it was a lot of fun. Even drove Hwy 1 back to the trailer when it was over. Stayed outside Carmel in the valley. Have a really nice photo but the resolution is too high to post.
Several years ago I took the 1901 CDO on the 17 mile drive while participating in an HCCA event. I think the road is private and guards limit general access.
From Wikipedia:
The drive serves as the main road through the gated community of Pebble Beach. Inside this community, nonresidents have to pay a toll to use the road. Like the community, the majority of 17-Mile Drive is owned and operated by the Pebble Beach Corporation. The 17-Mile Drive is a 17-mile (27 km)-long scenic loop having four primary entrances - the main highway entrance at California State Route 1, and entrances in Carmel and Pacific Grove.
Yep, Warwick we drove down the coast from Long Beach west of Seattle WA down through Oregon into California in the Kamper in 2011 on our way back to LA. A great run.
Great Model T roads, lots of cyclists and the speed limit is nearly 45 mph most of the way.
I've driven it in my '13 touring, San Francisco too!
