There are a couple of nice TT's in this short film. Pity they pass by so quickly.
That was great, looks so flat it has to be the Norfork area. The contrast to today is startling, mainly trucks, a bus and two cars. Today it would be a line of cars both ways, the odd panel van and maybe one bus.
There were hose carts, bicycles and a motorcycle (a Vincent?), even some pedestrians. Unfortunately there were no aircraft... it was 1929 for pity sakes!
Loved the flat bed cart with the horse driver standing whilst holding the reins. I bet if you waited long enough he would come back sitting on top of a load of hay!
Ah, The east of England. I have spent many an enjoyable day there, especially in Norfolk county. I love Britain so much I ended up with a British wife. She's Welsh.
