I am rebuilding a damaged & bent set of top irons for a 23 touring. I have 3 questions...
What is the length of the front iron from the pivot to the front edge? (My set has the ends broken off)
When the top is down should the 2nd iron from the front be on top of the 3rd iron or inward of the 3rd iron?
Should the radius of the irons be bent so that the sockets are 90 degrees to the irons?

Thanks, Chris

Chris:

Here's a diagram some other member of the forum put up a couple of years ago.

Good luck

Attached is a photo of my irons, the wood bows are not parallel. Should the irons be bent to 90 degrees? I plan to cut the ends off spare 4th irons and weld to my fronts, that is why I need the measurement from the pivot to the end.Top irons

Could someone tell me what are the best fasteners for attaching the top to the last bow iron on my 23 touring. On my irons there are 3 small threaded holes on the inside of the last iron. One still has a single male stud with a screwdriver slot on top. It looks like Lang's parts LIFT-WS and LIFT-E might be close.

Thanks
