Did anyone on the forum have their cars in the series back in 1983 and do you have any pictures from the time it was there, or of the sets built?
I knew of two cars personally used (and who owned them), but I'd like to know more.
Thanks
Hello william, I have that series on video tape. years ago, my wife wrote a letter to Charlton Heston trying to find out if it was possible to obtain one of the uniform badges from the series as our last name is "Delano" and I am a retired cop, thought it would be cool to have one!! He actually sent us a letter saying that all or most of the props became the property of the production company, but we never followed through with it. Maybe you could contact them for a line on where they got the vehicles from to use in the series! just a thought!

I know two of the cars...at least one of them has been sold since the owner I knew of has passed on. I actually have pictures in my hometown of China Grove NC as a kid of both cars. I am just curious if anyone else that may have had their car in the production.
One of them is the Model T in this Picture:
The other is a 24 or 25 Pierce Arrow touring that was original. It was used in the deleted scene of FDR before he became president. FDR was visiting the character of Hugh Holmes (played by Heston) and pulled away from the curb in this car and splashed mud on the police chief's (played by Wayne Rogers) pants.
