Check out the "boot" patch on the front left tire in the middle photo.
I noticed the wrap-a-round tire patch also. Was that a standard type of repair in that era? I guess people would use what they had to keep going. I confess I haven't seen one like that but there are a lot of things I haven't seen.
Somewhere, out in all my stuff, I have one of those. Really old and dried out but was a bought/manufactured item. It has nice metal eyelets along both sides to lace it onto the wheel.

I recognized the top picture right away. Been on that street many times. The building at the end of the street is Old City Hall in Toronto Ontario Canada. It is still standing along with some of the others as well.
