The Carbon Canyon Model T Club had a nice run yesterday up past Ashford near Mt Rainier. We met one of the locals who BBQ'd steaks for us to go with the potluck we provided. Weather was perfect for our nearly 100 mile round trip.
It was a perfect example of why we own these cars.
We also had our first breakdown of the year (2 actually) which is always heartbreaking but no injuries and our trouble truck was a God-Send. Thanks Bob and Gere!
Show us the pictures!!!
What could have prevented the breakdowns?
Not really sure Royce. Once member thinks he blew his engine (he's not a hot-rodder) and the other busted a shaft in his aux tranny which he has been running for several months. No hint no nothing... just snapped.
Towing Bill and staging for the run
Our host Ralph, club member Jack and a friend of our host Wade.
Some local kids joined us for lunch!
