Looks like it was built on a Overland chassis?

It looks like an Overland, because it is!
Overland had that crazy 45 degree spring mounting on the front and rear suspension. Not real obvious from the photos but if you see one in person it is hard to forget. I suppose it worked ok.

That's it Robert. Thanks. Looks like you crank through it. Makes a Model T look nice and clean up front. The tank in the cowl is another identifying feature.

I had a chance to get a bare Overland chassis with that spring arrangement for free about 12 years ago, and still kick myself for not picking it up.
I'd like to use that type of spring arrangement, but turned backwards, for an underslung Model T speedster project...
