Hi! guys; There appears to be an oil slinger on the
front of the camshaft, how does it go in? The only
timing mark I can find on my crankshaft gear is a
small Ford script,is that it? Lastly,I have a hogshead without an external low band adjustment, what is it from? Thanks,Fritz
Fritz,
The ford script on the little gear matches up with a dot or punch mark on the big cam gear.
Pic on the hogs head would help.

Would like to see a picture of both of those.
I'm with Jack. I want to see a picture of that slinger.
I bet the oil slinger is a timer rotor.
Fritz, our right hand drive covers have an internal adjustment on the first gear pedal and external adjusters on the other two, the exact reversal of LHD cars.
Maybee this will help.
Allan from down under.
Here is a US made RHD hogshead (pedals are 1911 - 14 style) from a British Model T to illustrate what Allan is saying. I assume the Canadian made ones shipped to Australia would be nearly identical.
Mark...either that or the brass shield behind it...
