I just returned from my car's first tour. We went camping at the tour master's cabin. Large amounts of smoke blowing in from the American fire two counties away gave a surreal look to this post card type photo taken by Jessica Bamber Ryan:

Keith, after looking down towards the lake and campsites of the Donnor-Reed party we did indeed go to lunch. Not pot-luck but we did sit around and chew the fat!

There are crews from all over the state working that fire. Terry, did Calfire try to recruit you, too?

No, but while we were busy fat chewing two Calfire personel stopped in front of my car, got out and photographed the car. If they had needed a ladder I might have been in trouble!
