I was at a local cruise night last Sunday, and a gentleman asked if I would be interested in taking my truck to a little car show at the local retirement home.
The show was tonight, with about 20 cars, with mine being the only Model T in attendance. There was a mix of cars - even an older Rolls was there.
Since some of the residents couldn't come out to the cruise night, we brought it to them. After they had dinner, they enjoyed looking at all the cars, right at their doorstep. This just made my day to see the smiles! One gentleman was 97 years old and as smart as a whip - I spent a good hour with him - what a blast.
Bob, I never knew you had such a pretty smile !
Okay, I'm kidding. Just figured we havn't seen Christina in a while.
We can NEVER get enough of Christina! High point of my day thus far.
I just can't believe there aren't any other pictures of her. That was the only one somebody took?
I'm with Seth. Bob, you need to find/take some more!
Yes. I think we need an official mascot and Christina is perfect for the job, but we do have to have more pictures, just to be sure...
Someone here knows her personally and I know more than one picture was taken of her that day at that event. Jim Patrick
ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE! No, that was not the only one I took. I have several more.
OMG!!!!!
Is that a brass ring she is wearing?
Should be T related to be on here, Where's the car.?
Bob
Bob, Zoom out and you will see it to the left...
If I posted the one of her with the Deuce and a Half, there would be mass coronaries across the forum.....so that one will remain in the vault.
WOW!!! Is that really a safe way to crank a T?
Bill
I vote Mr. Vanderburg for social secretary.
Ps Bill please PM me the picture of her with the deuce... I have a battery backup on my cpap machine.
William. When and where and what event were you at where those pictures were taken? Didn't Christina win some sort of beauty competition and become "Miss something or other"? Jim Patrick
WOW! Now THAT was the highlight of my day! I second Wes' nomination and respectfully request a deuce-and-a-half picture be PM'd to me as well.
Glad Jim pointed out the car - totally missed that at first, second and third stare - uhhhhhh, I mean glance.
It was a car show held at the River Rock Restaurant and Marina in Brick, NJ I think in 2010 or 11, I just don't remember which year. She won a swimsuit competition and beat out three other entrants, two of which wore cowboy boots, and the other was a mid to late 50's biker chick, who said: "To hell with it" and just stripped off her clothes.
Christina came with an entourage of "protection" but they were really cool. She models professionally in numerous car, bike, and tuner magazines. She currently is a blonde and has acquired some tasteful "art" on her arm.
When she took off her wrap, there was a collective "gasp" in the crowd, and then an uproar of approval.
Her sister used to work for me.
I certainly do apologize for stealing Greg's thread. That was not my intent.
Ya need to send that poor girl down here so we can feed her some barbeque and tamales so she doesn't blow out of an open car T.
William,
No apologies necessary - your pictures are way better than the ones I took...
"Tasteful Art" uh, maybe it's just me, but why desecrate such a beautiful creation with a man-made addition?? (I say this, yet one of my family's renters is a tattoo parlor--great folks, but I just don't understand this need for "decorating" oneself.)
Don't tell Linda, but I vote for posting the Deuce pic too!
She already had some art on her lower back, which you can just make out in the Deuce pic, if I were to post it.....lol
Do you....... (Gasp, Gasp, Wheeze, Wheeze......)
CLEAR!! (loud thump!)
CLEAR! (loud thump!)
(Cough, cough) OK, I'm alright.
Do you have any more?
You mean................like this one??
NOTICE: this is NOT the pic I am referring to in the above posts. Just so you know.....
She sure has long legs
CLEAR!! (loud thump!)
