Wowsa ... THAT looks like an accident waiting to happen! I would think they would have wanted a finer bar system on the driver's side of that 'jail'!

Looks like the title is 'Mobile Booking Cage' .. maybe they only leave the perpetrator in there to keep them from running away while they 'book' e'm ??

At the end of the month when I get the old city hall/fire hall/jail down to my place he can just swing by and drop them off.

Might be inviting an accident but at least the prisoner isn't on his "cell" phone. :@)

Nice photos

His resume states that he lived in a gated community

The oversized padlock and the mimics of the prisoner makes me think of a movie prop? Stunts with sidecars were popular in silent movies.

You're getting the old city jail down to your place, David? Sounds like a heavy transport! :-)

Roger,

It's a turn of the century wooden structure, only 16 x 32 and single story. My T firetruck used to set in it so when the city said they were going to tear it down because it needed a new roof I offered to buy it. Will be nice to put the firetruck back in it's "home" when I get them both restored.

The jail cells are only about 8 x 8. At about 12' from the back of the building they started laying the 2x4's flat and cribbed up the back so the back end will be a little heavy but the guy that is going to move it said his equipment will handle it so by the end of Sept I should have it home.

David.

Your fire truck will be secure in there :-)
