Unfortunately Florida didn't start issuing license plates until about 1918. (Some counties issued them earlier - but not mine)

I still wanted a Florida "1915" plate but none exist. So I found a site and made my own, patterned after one of the few counties in Florida that were issuing plates in 1915.

http://www.buildasign.com/MagneticSigns/browse-general

The above site lets you design your own plate in plastic or aluminum complete with mounting holes for only $15.50 shipping included(that's aluminum - cheaper for plastic).
I thought some of the forum members might be interested.

I will mount mine on the rear next to my official "horseless carriage" plates ..... at least until officer friendly makes me take it off, then I'll mount it on the front. ;o)

That's a neat sight. I checked it out and made one for the year my car was assembled in 1913.
I used to make License Plates in Prison before they out sourced it to China. Ha Ha... just kidding.

Careful Mark S! I tend to be gullible.
I wanted to look at your profile to remind me whereabouts you lived in Califunny. I like your personal quote. Since I worked many years in underground construction, and have also as a machinist, welder, iron-worker. (I can build almost anything.) I often make comments about still having all my fingers. I have my share of scars, but they are still all there and all mine.
Nice runabout! I can hardly wait till mine looks half that nice.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

If you find a picture of a YOM play you like, you can, "upload image" and put it on. Just cut off that part that is the wrong size...
