Where can I get a KR Wilson decal like the one in the picture for a V8 dist machine that I am restoring?

Tom,
It has been kinda slow today so I played around with your decal.
Is this close enough?

With the image that Michael made, you can probably get a custom decal or sticker made, just search Google for "custom decals".

A while back I got a custom rubber stamp made, there were several companies to choose from, all I had to do was email them a .jpg file with the text and/or picture I wanted on the stamp (and pay, of course).

Tom, I have some water slide decal paper. What size is the decal? Maybe I'll take a stab at printing out a few.

Michael, can I get a full resolution copy of the file from you?

Maybe Michael is away, try PM'ing him with your generous offer.

Michael, looks great! I emailed Tom Carnegie and gave him the approximate size of the decal.
When I get the final size, we'll let him try to recreate the image.

Nice work Michael!

Tom,
The second image that I posted is the highest resolution image that I saved. I would think that one of the online decal makers could enlarge or reduce as needed. If the finished decal quality isn't good enough, I could help out with a higher resolution image.

The actual image is a 1.94" x 3.25" jpg 96 pixels/inch.

If you use the artwork in your restoration, I would appreciate a photo of the finished machine.

Michael, that is great. I just wanted to be sure that I was working with the highest resolution possible. Thanx! When Tom gives me the actual size, I will go to work.

Tom,
Am I correct in assuming that you have the capacity to make water slide decals?

I have screen printed decals in the past but am not set up to do that now. The decals that I made (1946 RCA 621ts television controls) were very small and labor intensive.

I'm assuming that you are possibly using some type of computer printer??

As Gary suggests; I have no connection to this seller,

Michael, yes i have made water slide decals. I do them with an ink jet printer. I have two kinds of paper. Clear, which only works well with black ink, and white for colors and stuff. The KR Wilson and the Burd-Gilman decals will work fine with the white paper as they are viewed from the front. They will have to be cut out to the exact right size though. A window decal, however would not work with the white paper as they are reversed and viewed from behind. A window decal would have to be silk screened.

The KR Wilson decals on ebay are the wrong size. I measured 1 7/8" X 7/8" on the decal I'm trying to replicate. What kind of cost factor are we looking at Tom?

Tom, at least .45 for a stamp! :-)
