Does anyone have any measurements for the steel truck box for the TT? I've seen a few, but I never have a tape measure handy when I do. They look almost double the length of the regular T and A boxes I've seen floating around, but I'm curious about their exact length.
Jared the Express box that was sold with the TT is 88" long outside by 48" inside width. It was 12 1/8" deep inside.
I don't have the exact measurements but they were about 48x88x12. They were about 10" shorter and narrower than the flat bed.
Jared, I assume you are looking for the express bed measurements and that is what Fred and Ken gave you. The express bed looks like the 1925 thru 1927 T pickup bed only larger.
If you need the measurements of the flat TT bed, I can measure one for you, but post here that you want it as I will have to measure one.
Thanks guys. The express box is what I'm looking for. I just didn't know the technical name when I made the original post. Are these boxes rare? I see about twice as many of the factory flatbeds out there, and probably double that of the good old homemade wooden stake bed or grain box.
Jared, Yes they are rare. There is large Hershey Pa swap meet comming soon. Bring your walking shoes as the meet is large, but your chances would be good in finding one.
I found one in Chickasha OK about five years ago. I have some good pictures somewhere, but I could not find any but this one. A wrecker boom was mounted in the middle.

I was afraid of that. I was thinking it would make a great trailer, possibly a camper. But if they're that rare maybe I should just try something else. They are cool looking though.
