Rob, WOW to get to see of Henry,s Magnificent Lady,s traveling together. Henry would give you and the other fella a pat on the back for taking care of his girls. So what did Royce bring to show off? You have the top of the line and all of us are very proud of you for bring this fine automobile back to life and all the paper work to show the world what Henry did. Thanks, Scott
Excellent video, Rob. Beautiful cars and a great musical score.
Thanks Rob for letting us ride along. Regards.
Neat. An early 20th century traffic jam to 19th century music. Gotta go there sometime.
Boy! That car rides smoothly!
Thank you for sharing this Rob!

Thanks Rob
Great film and music, I even saw a A Snow-Bird or Snow Flyer in it ( about 6:40 left side of road) Were there any others there ?
Bob
Hey Rob, is that Bud (Kenneth DeLong) in the (1913?) Touring with the white tires we see at 1:27 - 1;31 in your video?
TH
Terry,I'd hate to think anyone else looked that old and fat! Bud.
Terry - I can attest to the fact that that's bud at 1:27 to 1:31.
We were in the Gaslight Parade, but not in this video.
BTW This is a wonderful event and should be on everyones bucket list....Even non-Model T folks.
Keith
I was on the Lansing-Dearborn , followed by the OCF, last year with my one-lung Cadillac. Definitely on the must-do list. Now it's on my repeat must-do list, along with the New London-New Brighton in Minnesota, which I did two years ago. Too bad they're so far apart in time. They're both so far from NJ that I don't want to make two trips in the same season, and I can't hang around out there from one to the other.
The second half of the Ks at the OCF. Driving on the back roads at the village.

Gilbert:
My wife and I drove our truck and trailer with two old Fords (Model K and Model T) aboard from Connecticut to Minnesota in early August and participated in both the Early Ford registry Meet and the New London to New Brighton Run.
We then drove the truck and trailer to Dearborn, and left everything there and flew home.
Three or so weeks later we flew back to Dearborn, and participated in the Lansing to Dearborn Run as well as the Old Car Festival.
Splitting the trip with a flight home made it much more tolerable. Plus we were able to participate in four events with two cars..and no wasted time in between events.
Another couple also from Connecticut did the same thing.
I suspect that we will again be completing the trip again.
Timothy
We only travel 150 miles each way but for those who travel far and at great expense i say thank you!!!!!!!! Bud.
Wow! The acceleration on that car is so good I was being thrown back in my seat! (When Timothy K pulled off and you kept on going, about 6:20) Somehow I need to get there with one of my cars before a couple more years go by.
Thank you for sharing this!

Timothy -
That's a good idea. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Wayne,
I'm constantly amazed by the power of the K. It seems as if all of a sudden your going 35-45 ( with Model T brakes).
Rob
Was that the IHC again to your left at about eight minutes? I saw an IHC in your other video but couldn't see this view well enough to be sure (a rhetorical question I ask like I think you would remember that one moment). There appear to be a lot of great non-Ford horseless carriage and nickel age cars there in addition to the Fords. I even saw a White touring car (painted white of course). Maybe they would let me take my gasoline carriage if I ever get it put together and drive-able.
Thank you so much for sharing the videos and your adventure!

Wayne - I think the car you asked about in the previous post was a Sears. There were a couple of Sears there and they were parked next to us in the POEE lot where we parked our tow vehicles, etc.
Keith
Thank you Keith G! I had seen both Sears and IHC at previous points in other videos of the meet. But there were more than one Sears at the Festival? Sears is one of the cars I have really wanted since before I was ten years old. I have got to get some things done so I can get going on my gasoline carriage.
I will need to look even more closely at that video. I didn't think the car had quite the "stance" of a Sears.
Really wonderful bunch of cars at that meet! Gotta get there.

In Rob's first video of this thread, at about 10:53, the IHC is going the other way. It appears to be an MW model of about 1913 to '15. And it is outfitted as a pickup, not a five passenger vehicle.
Same video, earlier, at about 2:48, Rob drives by another high wheel car on his right. This car could be the same one as in the second video. Again, I cannot make out enough detail to know if it is a Sears or not. I cannot be certain whether it has a steering wheel on the right side (like the IHC) or a tiller on the left like all Sears high wheel cars. Many other high wheel cars also had steering wheels. A few others had tiller steering, most on the right side like early Holsman did.
The mystery car is a longer wheelbase five passenger high wheel, like the Sears model P. They are somewhat rare, however, I have twice in my life come close to buying one. But the timing did not work out for me. One of them was over-priced considering its very poor condition and incorrect (earlier Sears) motor.
I also noticed that Timothy K was following a high wheel for much of the first couple minutes in the first video. You can't see it most of the time except for on a few turns where it steps out from in front of that huge model K. No details can be seen, but it looks like the size and stance of the more common two passenger Sears models.
Great cars and an incredible meet. My thanks to Rob and everyone that made the meet possible. If I can ever stop wasting so much time baby-sitting sick family, Maybe I can get my cars done and go there.
