Friends ...

I am installing RM brakes on my 16 touring. I have the RM brake pedal already installed.

Do any of you happen to have photos of the assembly - on the pedal end - already installed?

The instructions for the wheel end came with photos and is much clearer to me.

Thanks!

Ground off a little of the end so that the clevis would fit a bit better, the casting has drafts on the flat surfaces, normal in cast parts made from patterns.

Oops wrong photo!

Seems I don't have the assembly shot in the files from the pedal to the equalizer and to the cross-shaft.

Just these, the before and after :-)

Thanks John...That's a big help. Does he other end of that spring hook onto the extended foot (left side as you look down from the top) of the equalizer assembly??

The 'return' spring goes from the pedal hole to whatever point you can find on the fixed chassis. The spring doesn't fasten to the equalizer assembly.

Most times you can fit it to the running board brace at the hump, fitting a hook or bolt to secure the eye end of the spring on the steel brackets, as for the forged brackets with rod, may have to find some other point.
