Quality Hill was group of homes on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River from the east. This group of early 20th century nice large brick mansions along Summit Avenue survived until the early 1960's when all were demolished and replaced by a hodgepodge of commercial construction. This destruction of a portion of Fort Worth's heritage was stupid and disgraceful. I thought so when it was being done and I still think so today.
