Nope.
Early Model A caps have internal threads.
Later A's have conventional "twist on" caps.

I did not realize the the later ones had a twist on until just now. I learned something today. Mine is a '29 and has the screw on type. I have to admit, I never paid any attention the 30-31 ones.:-(

The same goes for A gas caps, 28-29 were threaded, 30-31 were "twist-on" w/the 2 lugs.

Here is a picture of the accessory Quail cap. It screws on, held with a set screw, and you twist the Quail to open it.
