If you saw my little piece in the magazine about my improvised valve spring compressor, you know it was a temporary cheap expedient to use until the real thing turned up for less than a fortune. A few minutes ago I got home from an auction a quarter mile down the road from my house where I bought this for $4.

Yep, overkill on a T maybe, but I can use it on tractors and other engines too.

I like that type because you can clamp it in place and have both hands free to remove/install the keeper pin.
