Here's a great little story I thought I'd share with you all.
One time, I had my T up here in College Station, and my brother and I were returning from Texas T parts. He was driving on University, which goes right by the campus during school hours. Suddenly, we realized that his class was in 20 minutes! So he jumped out and I quickly slid into the drivers seat. I had to move forward a little bit and I was lazy, trying to feather the pedal between low and high rather than putting the hand brake in the middle, and my light was just about to turn green.
Well, I didn't get it perfect and I wound up stalling the engine. My T did not have a working starter at the time, so I had to hand crank her. I jumped out of the car, ran up to the front, pulled the crank over once, and she started right up, jumping back in with lightning speed. Right then, the light changed and off I went.
All I could hear over the sound of the engine was the cheering of a bunch of college students on the side of the road who had watched the entire event!
Wherever you go in a T, you are your own car show.
Wherever I drive is a parade.
Wherever I park is a car show.
Steve, you took the words right out of my mouth....er, keyboard! Also a "one -T parade"!
Great story Cameron
