First commercial tractor trailer
Fire Engine in North Syracuse, NY
That tractor-trailer or one like it, used to be on display, several yrs. ago, at the Henry Ford Museum.
Great pictures and information William.
I guess the firemen stop at a delicatessens and policemen stop at doughnut shops!
Richard,
I'll bet it was the same one.
The photos were scanned from the Floyd Clymer book - Henry's Wonderful Model T

I have one of those trailers. It is rough.
They are made by Fruehauf.
I think there is a description in
HENRY"S WONDERFUL MODEL T by Floyd Clymer.
I think I saw this truck in 2003 when I was at The Henry Ford. It was way in the back in the museum.
